Padi Advanced Open Water Course

Take it to next level, become an advanced diver and discover a fascinating part of our ocean, "The Deep Blue".  

With the advanced open water training, you will have enough skills to dive to deep water, wrecks, drifts, at night, caverns, and more...

Scuba dive the amazing dive sites of the North Shore while working on your scuba certification. Oahu has great shipwrecks and reef dives that requires some level of experience.

Learn how to take underwater pictures and videos, work on an underwater naturalism project to identify different fish family groups and species.

Work on your buoyance skills to avoid crushing and damaging the reef or getting yourself stung by a sea urchin. Perform a search and recovery dive to look for missing objects.

Be able to follow your compass and account for natural navigation as you learn how to lead dives.

These are all the fun dives and important skills you will master in order to accomplish the advanced open water certification.

The course consists of a total of 5 dives and it can be completed in 2-3 days.

Hawaii Eco Divers & Surf Adventures offers scuba diving, surf tours, kayaking, parasailing, shark diving, hiking, skydiving and helicopter tours on the North Shore and all around the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
From our base near Waimea Bay on the North Shore we have many options for amazing dives. Sharks Cove, Three Tables and Waimea are sure bets for a fun shore dive with lots of features, lava formations and lots of marine life. From the famous boat wrecks around Waikiki like the Sea Tiger, San Pedro and YO-257, to Turtle Canyon, Hanauma Bay, the Corsair wreck, we got the South Shore of Oahu covered! On the West Coast we have some of the best dives on the island mixing reefs, rock formations, lava tubes, boat wrecks, and amazing marine life. Sharks, eagle rays, dragon eels, whale and dolphin watching while on deck, the list goes on! The Mahi wreck, Makaha caverns and Black Rock are some of the best dives in this area.
