Mahi Wreck

Depth 90 ft./ 30 m.  The Mahi is an US Navy minesweeper that was sank in 1982 as an artificial reef project.  The wreck is 190 ft./ 63 m. long.  Since it is an old shipwreck, a lot of marine life can be found, including a squadron of as much as 20 Eagle Rays hovering on top of the wreck, swimming majestically against the current.  Also, a large Great Barracuda has claimed The Mahi home, and is usually found circling the mast post.  Large schools of fish and eels are always present.  Bigger sharks can be seen here as well.  Intermediate to advanced dive.  Visibility 60-140 ft./ 20-45 m
