Na parte sudeste da ilha de Oahu existem ótimos pontos de mergulho com correntes bem fortes sendo possível o drift dive. O Corsair é um dos mergulhos mais requisitados por estar naufragado em uma área onde a visibilidade nunca esta menos que 35 metros. Geralmente o segundo mergulho do dia é quase sempre um drift (corrente). Uma das coisas mais extraordinárias de mergulhar na parte sudeste da ilha é pelo fato de que todos os pontos de mergulhos estar localizados entre dois vulcões em uma baía chamada Maunalua Bay, inclusive um desses mergulhos é exatamente na parede de fora de uma cratera de vulcão chamado Koko crater.

From our base near Waimea Bay on the North Shore we have many options for amazing dives. From the famous boat wrecks around Waikiki like the Sea Tiger, San Pedro and YO-257, to Turtle Canyon, Hanauma Bay, the Corsair wreck, we got the South Shore of Oahu covered! On the West Coast we have some of the best dives on the island mixing reefs, rock formations, lava tubes, boat wrecks, and amazing marine life. Sharks, eagle rays, dragon eels, whale and dolphin watching while on deck, the list goes on! The Mahi wreck, Makaha caverns and Black Rock are some of the best dives in this area.
